Welcome to the Mt. Pleasant Photography Club website. We are sponsored by the Lancaster Parks and Recreation Division. We exist to provide an outlet for learning and fellowship to anyone interested in photography, no matter what their level of expertise. Our members range from very new beginners up to 40 and 50 year veterans. Meetings are on the first Thursday of each month at the Olivedale Senior Citizen Center at 253 Boving Road in Lancaster. Meeting time is 7:00 P.M. Among the opportunities for members are in-house contests, an awards system based on club participation, educational workshops, photo shoots, and events for public display of members' works. From time to time, we also engage in some public service projects and we operate a booth at the Fairfield County Fair to help keep our name known to the general public. |
